What Is It For?
Cheek filler is meant to provide structure and support for the medial and lateral aspects of the face. Utilizing filler we can create modelesque cheeks to provide contours that define and highlight every aspect of the face. This procedure is minimally invasive, providing temporary, but long lasting results, up to two years. There are a variety of available injectable fillers including hyaluronic acid based fillers that are slowly dissolved into the body and collagen stimulating fillers that boost plumpness and encourage the body to increase collagen production for more enduring results.

Here at Lushful Aesthetics we believe that cheeks should define and provide structure to enhance the face globally. Most patients require about 2 syringes to optimally enhance their cheeks.
Avoid alcohol consumption for 3 days prior to receiving injections.
Consult with your medical provider if you are able to discontinue blood thinning medication such as Ibuprofen, Excedrin, Aspirin, Aleve, and Fish Oil.
Do not wear makeup to your appointment.
FAQs
How long does cheek filler last?
Filler in the cheeks lasts 1-3 years, depending on what product is utilized. LushFILL™ lasts 2-3 years and stimulates the growth of collagen which can last about 5 years.
Can filler be dissolved?
If hyaluronic acid based fillers are utilized, then yes, the filler is completely dissolvable. If LushFILL™ is utilized, it can be partially dissolved. The remaining amount of filler will need to break down naturally over 2-3 years.
How long does it take for filler to settle?
Filler typically takes at least 2 weeks to settle. However, some patients may have residual swelling and therefore should expect to wait at least 4 weeks to appreciate the final result.
