What Is It For?
Hair restoration with High Density Platelet-Rich Plasma (HD PRP) is for patients experiencing mild to moderate hair loss. Patients with thinning hair or those looking to reinforce their hair transplant investment are optimal candidates for hair restoration with PRP. Those who have more extensive hair loss are not candidates for hair restoration with PRP and likely require a hair transplant.

Our Approach
Injecting the highest quality HD PRP derived from your own blood into the scalp promotes hair follicle rejuvenation. Clients will experience new hair follicle growth, existing hair follicles will be stronger and hair texture will thicken. It is recommended patients begin with three treatments spaced a month apart. Once the patient has achieved their desired results they will be put on a maintenance plan, which varies from patient to patient. You should anticipate receiving treatment 2-3 times per year.
Avoid alcohol consumption for 3 days prior to receiving injections.
Consult with your medical provider if you are able to discontinue blood thinning medication such as Ibuprofen, Excedrin, Aspirin, Aleve, and Fish Oil.
Please arrive with a clean scalp and avoid using leave-in hair products the day of your appointment.

How long does it take to see results?
Patients should expect to see results in about 3 months.
Why do I need to keep getting maintenance treatments?
If you were losing hair prior to receiving PRP, your body is no longer providing your hair follicles the support they need to promote hair growth. We need to continue maintenance treatments so you do not lose the new hair that is forming.
What happens if I stop getting maintenance treatments?
Your hair will slowly return back to its initial state over time.
I’m completely bald, will PRP help me regrow my hair?
No. PRP is best for patients in the early to mid phase of hair loss. Patients with severe hair loss interested in restoration are recommended to consult with a hair transplant provider.
