What Is It For?

Botox can be used to treat hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). Injecting into the underarm eccrine glands (sweat glands) helps to reduce or eliminate excessive underarm sweating caused by the medical condition axillary hyperhidrosis. It takes 2 weeks for the Botox to fully block the receptors in the sweat glands. Results last around 3-4 months, you can always return to our men’s medspa in NYC to receive another round of treatment when you feel like it has worn off.

How do I know how many units I need?

300 units is what we offer patients for the treatment of hyperhidrosis. Be wary of practices that offer this treatment with less units, as it is usually not very effective. Additional units can be utilized for patients with severe hyperhidrosis at an additional cost that is price adjusted.
