Does anal bleaching use actual bleach? Will it lighten the hair in the anal region?
No, the bleach for anal area does not contain actual bleach and therefore does not interact with the hair it touches. Early on, anal bleaching solutions had various harsh ingredients, like peroxide, which would lighten hair and cause irritation. Our professional anal bleaching formula is safe and effective.
Is there any non-aesthetic related reason why someone would bleach their anus?
Professional anal bleaching is mostly for aesthetic purposes. However, if you’re doing laser hair removal in the anal area where you also have darker pigmentation, we may recommend bleaching the intimate area. This will help to lighten the skin so the laser can be set at a higher setting to deliver optimal results.
How long does professional anal bleaching last?
The longevity of intimate bleaching varies. Patients who lift several shades (usually more than 3 shades) rarely return to their baseline darkness, but will gradually darken over time. In patients who only lifted 1-2 shades, they may see themselves returning to baseline in one to two years.
Can I do anal bleaching at home?
Yes! At your scheduled appointment patients will receive the medical-grade anal bleaching kit and have the entire protocol reviewed with InjectorChris. The patient will also be given the written intimate bleaching protocol to have on hand and then they will begin the anal bleaching process at home.
Can I have sex after anal bleaching?
We recommend patients wait 5-7 days before engaging in sexual activity (whether with a partner or a toy). This is because the intimate area after bleaching will be more sensitive and excessive friction can be irritating.
How much does professional anal bleaching cost?
Our intimate area bleaching service costs $800 per area and includes 2 treatments.
How many treatments do you need for anal bleaching?
So far all of our patients have been satisfied with the 2 treatments of intimate area bleaching included in the $800 package. If a patient wants to possibly go lighter, we can assess to determine the next best steps.
How far apart are the two sessions of anal bleaching?
The two intimate bleaching sessions are 2-3 weeks apart.
Can anal bleaching products be bought over the counter?
There are various products on the market that are sold directly to consumers that help to lighten intimate areas. We have done a full market review to try the most popular products and found no success. Our intimate bleaching protocol includes a prescribed pre and post-treatment cream and a medical-grade bleach for genital areas to deliver optimal results.
How much lighter can I expect my anus to get after the treatment?
While our bleach for genital areas has consistently provided great results, we do find that a great portion of the result varies on the patient. Being consistent with the pre and post-treatment regimen is crucial to receiving optimal results. Some patients with extensive hyperpigmentation may see substantial results, while others with minimal hyperpigmentation may only see 1-2 shades lifted.
Is there any way to extend anal bleaching results?
Yes! Continuing your post-treatment as prescribed is important to maintain results. We also highly recommend laser hair removal, as the friction from shaving, waxing, etc. can darken the skin.
How is the recovery process for anal bleaching?
Patients can expect some mild dryness and irritation following their lightening treatments, but nothing difficult to tolerate.
