Most patients require about 2-3 syringes to optimally enhance their cheeks, which are injected strategically to the lateral aspects of the face for a more defined and chiseled look. The medial cheeks are treated as well if there’s volume loss. This non-surgical facial enhancement treatment only involves a single entry point utilizing a cannula on the side of each cheek to reduce bruising and vascular complications.
Avoid alcohol consumption for 3 days prior to receiving injections to help reduce bruising during the cheek filler procedure.
Consult with your medical provider if you are able to discontinue blood thinning medication such as Ibuprofen, Excedrin, Aspirin, Aleve, and Fish Oil.
Do not wear makeup to your appointment.

How long does it take for jaw filler to settle?
Typically, jawline fillers take at least 2 weeks to settle. However, some patients may have residual swelling and should expect to wait at least 4 weeks to appreciate the final result.
Who Should Not Get Cheek Filler?
Patients with excessive cheek volume or heavily defined cheekbones should most likely avoid cheek filler and focus on balancing other aspects of their face. This can be discussed during your appointment.
