NeckTox

What Is Neck Botox For?

At Lushful Aesthetics, we specialize in two transformative methods of neck botox or NeckTox™. The first version of NeckTox™ addresses the overall skin presentation of the neck, providing a solution for neck wrinkles and a crepey neck. The second method of NeckTox™ addresses the platysmal bands that are often associated with thinner aging patients. Our tailored approach makes us a top medical spa for men seeking neck rejuvenation.

How Does Neck Botox Work?

Our Botox neck lift procedure involves micro-dosing Botox across the neck's surface.  This treatment aims to reduce turkey neck, smooth fine lines, and curb excessive sweating. For Platysmal bands Botox, toxin is injected directly into the bands to relax them so they no longer protrude when the patient animates their face and strains their neck. This can often give the patient’s lower face a more “lifted” appearance, as the platysma bands tend to pull the face down as we age.

Pre-Care | Post-Care

  • Consult with your medical provider, discontinue blood thinning medication such as Ibuprofen, Excedrin, Aspirin, Aleve, and Fish Oil a week prior to injections

FAQs

Does NeckTox help with tech neck?

Yes, NeckTox helps to smooth out the appearance of the neck. It can be done in one or two different ways. It can treat horizontal neck lines to soften them and/or treat the strong platysmal bands that often become more visible as we age.

Who is a candidate for neck Botox?

The ideal candidate for neck Botox is someone who is concerned about visible vertical bands or horizontal lines on their neck.

What are the side effects of neck Botox?

Patients rarely have side effects from NeckTox, but when they do, they are minimal. The most common are bruising, swelling, and redness. Swelling subsides within 30 minutes of the procedure, while redness and bruising can vary from patient to patient. Redness will go away within 24 hours, while bruises may take a few days or more to fade.

Will Botox remove my horizontal neck lines?

Though Botox to tighten neck skin improves horizontal lines, it will not completely remove the line. This treatment is best combined with filler and laser resurfacing treatments in order to treat the concern with a multimodality treatment plan. This will yield the most optimal results.

How long does neck Botox last?

Botox in the platysmal bands lasts 3-4 months like Botox in other areas of muscle. Superficial Botox for neck lines in the skin typically is much more subtle but does last 3-4 months as well.

I've had Botox for my face. Can I combine that with a NeckTox treatment?

Yes! Patients will often have their NeckTox procedure done at the same time as their facial botox. It’s always easiest to get everything done together to be sure the face and neck are balanced.

How safe is Botox for the neck area?

Botox for the neck is extremely safe and low risk. As with any other aesthetic medical procedure, it’s important to see a well trained injector that understands their anatomy and product dosing to give you optimal results.
