HangTox® is an application of Botox for the scrotum (Scrotox) that relaxes the cremaster muscle. Our Approach to Scrotum Botox
The results of HangTox (botox in the testicles) from an aesthetic clinic allow the cremaster muscle of the scrotum to relax. The cremaster muscle is responsible for the reflex of pulling the balls closer to the body when the individual is cold or experiencing anxiety, etc. Some people’s cremaster muscle is naturally more hyperflexed and they always feel like their balls are very tight against their body, while others can have the opposite which is a more relaxed cremaster muscle, this allows their balls to hang lower at baseline. Does HangTox hurt?
No. We utilize a prescription strength topical numbing cream and we also provide our med spa patients the option to utilize ProNox (laughing gas) to make them comfortable before the scrotal and penile botox treatment. With both of these modalities, patients report little to no pain.
How long does it take to see the results after the treatment?
Similar to traditional Botox treatments, the effects of this scrotal enhancement procedure typically take about two weeks to fully develop. You should expect some minor changes within the first few days as the Botox starts to take effect, and the full results of genital Botox—whether it’s a smoother appearance for the scrotum or a more relaxed, fuller look for the penis—will be visible around the two-week mark.
Is there bruising and swelling?
Yes, patients should expect mild bruising and swelling for a week after scrotum botox or botox penile injection treatment, but this is minimal downtime compared to invasive procedures.
How long do the results of genital botox?
With the appropriate dosing, scrotal Botox results will last 3-4 months as they do with facial Botox. Patients can always receive more treatments at our men’s med spa after the results wear off.

Yes, you can do HangTox at the same time as Penis Filler. Most patients prefer to combine ScroFill® with Penis Filler for the most optimal and longest lasting results. This approach delivers more dramatic, longer-lasting results by addressing both penile girth and scrotal relaxation at once.
Should I choose ScroFill® instead of HangTox?
This will depend on your anatomy and overall goals. ScroFill involves injecting hyaluronic acid filler to increase into the dermal layer of the scrotum to make it appear larger, fuller, and heavier, often more dramatic than what Scrotox alone can achieve. While HangTox (also known as Botox for balls or testicular Botox) relaxes the cremaster muscle to help your testicles hang lower, ScroFill enhances the size and shape, with results that can last 2-3 years.
Are 300 units necessary for effective Scrotal Botox?
We’ve tested various dosages, and the results have shown that 300 units offer the most effective and consistent results for scrotal Botox. Using less often compromises the outcome, making it more difficult to achieve the smooth, relaxed look associated with low slung balls.
