How Do Face Balancing Fillers Work?
Facial harmonization typically requires 3-5 syringes of hyaluronic acid-based and/or Radiesse®, ensuring a symmetrical effect across your face. Contrary to what one might think, this isn't an excessive amount. When a patient wants to achieve a sculpted jawline alone, 5-7 syringes are typically utilized. So, when you think of facial balancing, consider it as a touch here and a touch there. Once settled, others shouldn't detect any noticeable "augmentation." This procedure is personalized for each individual.
Avoid alcohol consumption for 3 days prior to receiving face balancing fillers to help reduce bruising during the filler procedure
Consult with your medical provider if you are able to discontinue blood thinning medication such as Ibuprofen, Excedrin, Aspirin, Aleve, and Fish Oil

Our face balancing fillers procedure treats the whole face, not just a singular area. Patients at our medical spa for men can expect 3-5 syringes for an even and symmetrical outcome. If more extensive correction is necessary, we might spread the sessions out and also explore other treatments, such as Botox and laser resurfacing.

What filler is used for facial balancing?
We use a range of hyaluronic acid-based and Radiesse®, which is a calcium-based filler for asymmetry that also stimulates collagen and elastin. In most cases, we will use a variety of different fillers to correct asymmetry, we choose the filler that is best suited for each specific area treated. We offer fair pricing based on the number of syringes regardless of brand.

No, that’s quite the opposite of the goal in regards to facial balancing. During facial balancing we take a holistic approach to treating the whole face in small amounts to great a beautiful and harmonious result.
What's the difference between facial balancing and traditional filler treatments?
Facial balancing takes into consideration the entire face and doesn’t just focus on individual features. This prevents the patient from ever looking like one feature alone is “too much”. The idea is to keep the results simple and of course, balanced.
How safe is the nonsurgical facial balancing procedure?
Facial balancing is as safe as any other facial filler procedure. It’s important to see a well trained medical professional who has several Before + Afters of their work for you to review.
How long is the recovery for nonsurgical facial balancing?
As with most filler treatments, nonsurgical facial balancing takes about 2 weeks to settle in. Residual swelling may linger for up to 4 weeks. In general, we recommend that patients plan in advance 4-6 weeks before any major events.
How often do I need to have facial balancing done?
This is a multifactorial question. Everyone is different in regards to the level of “correction” they’re looking to maintain and achieve. If you’re someone who prides yourself on looking aesthetically optimal at all times, you may want small touch-ups yearly in conjunction with Botox and laser resurfacing. On the other hand, if you’re just looking for a pick-me-up treatment and want to ride it out and not worry about maintenance there’s nothing wrong with that and you’ll slowly see your results fade away over 1-3 years depending on the amount of filler you received.
