We utilize a prescription strength topical numbing cream and we also provide our med spa patients the option to utilize ProNox (laughing gas) to make them comfortable before the penile botox treatment. With both of these modalities, patients report little to no pain.
How long does it take to see the results after the treatment?
Similar to traditional Botox treatments, the effects of this procedure typically take about two weeks to fully develop. You should expect some minor changes within the first few days as the Botox starts to take effect, and the full results of penile Botox—a more relaxed, fuller look for the penis—will be visible around the two-week mark.
Is there bruising and swelling?
Yes, patients should expect mild bruising and swelling for a week after botox penile injection treatment, but this is minimal downtime compared to invasive procedures.
How long do the results of genital botox last?
With the appropriate dosing, penile Botox results will last 3-4 months as they do with facial Botox. Patients can always receive more treatments at our men’s med spa after the results wear off.
