Pros and Cons of Surgical vs. Non-Surgical BBLs

If you are nervous about a more traditional BBL, let us introduce you to an alternative: a no-scalpel Brazilian Lift, surgery-free. This type of BBL treatment can be safer for the body and more affordable. Curious about this NYC butt lift?

What is the Difference between Butt Injections vs. BBL?

If you are thinking about growing a bigger butt, but are a little concerned or confused about the procedure, price point, and healing process of a surgical butt lift, it’s important to know about the alternatives to a traditional BBL. A more “natural” BBL, that only requires local anesthetic, could be the perfect choice for you.

Traditional BBL Surgery

A surgical Brazilian butt lift involves removing fat from other parts of your body, such as the hips, lower back, and other areas with liposuction, and then this fat is then processed and injected into the buttocks to sculpt the shape and improve the volume. Also known as a fat transfer BBL, the second advantage is that it helps to reshape and slim other areas of the body.

Natural BBL

Also known as a no-scalpel Brazilian Lift, a non-surgical BBL is about creating a butt lift by injecting certain areas with dermal fillers. A non-invasive BBL still results in a more rounded, lifted, and attractive butt, though the results are not as drastic as a traditional BBL surgery.

What are Dermal Fillers for Non-Surgical BBLs Made From?

Usually, nonsurgical butt lifts are usually either treated with hyperdiluted Radiesse® or Sculptura®. Hyperdiluted Radiesse is a solution of the semi permanent filler, Radesse, that has been diluted with saline. This solution is strategically injected into certain areas of the buttocks to increase volume and to potentially address sagging or wrinkled skin. The Radiesse helps to stimulate the building of new collagen in the body. New collagen is there to provide structure, strength, and support throughout the buttocks area.

These small doses of Radiesse are safe if done by a medical professional. Hyperdiluted Radiesse used for a no-scalpel Brazilian Lift has the potential to treat a variety of skin imperfections, including skin laxity and even cellulite with minimal bruising. Radiesse for the buttocks is a safe treatment, approved by the FDA as a facial filler in 2006, and regularly used for Instant BBLs.

Why Should You Pick a Non-Surgical BBL vs. a Surgical BBL?

A non-surgical butt lift, in comparison to a traditional BBL, might be a better alternative for someone who is looking for an improved appearance of their buttocks but is intimidated by the process of a surgical BBL.

Surgery Free

Unlike a traditional BBL, an Instant BBL has no surgical process attached to it. As previously mentioned, a non-surgical BBL requires only a local anesthetic in the area of injection. This means that you don’t have to go under anesthesia, and the procedure is much quicker, meaning you can go out and show off the new medical procedure sooner!

A Reasonable Price

While the price does depend on how many injections are used during the procedure, a traditional BBL is usually much more expensive than a non-surgical BBL, and BBL injection costs can be offset with the help of reasonable payment plans

A Shorter Recovery Time

Traditional BBL recovery time can greatly restrict your activities and take anywhere from two to three months, depending on your body and the potential complications that may occur from surgery. In comparison, a no-scalpel Brazilian Lift’s recovery time is usually around 72 hours, with patients returning to their normal activities the day after treatment! This shortened recovery time means you will be able to spend less time recovering, and more time living the rest of your life.
